10 Best Recruitment Books for 2020

The recruitment industry has evolved and so has the complexity of attracting, selecting and retaining quality candidates. I have been a tech recruiter since 2007 and have experienced the shift in how to attract talent first hand. In 2009, I was speaking at tech conferences on “How to Think Like a Recruiter”. In today’s market, we give talks on “How to Think Like a Candidate”. There are three fundamental shifts that attribute to this shift;

  • The Economy - employment is at an all time high.

  • There are more options for employment - data analytics & security, nano technology, social media thought leaders… yes, that is a job!

  • A mobile-enabled world. You can apply for a job or hire a candidate from any smart device.

So let’s talk about the real challenge, staying current and up-to-date in your own personal skills sets.
