Chuidian: Source Through Conferences

Have you ever looked for prospective hires at a conference? There are conferences for all types of workers in every field. If you’re sourcing for a particular type of employee, often you can get a good list of potential leads through a conference or seminar that an employee would attend. In a recent episode of Dueling Sourcers, Mike Chuidian explained to host Stacey Broadwell how he uses this technique to source for good candidates.

“I love to infiltrate conferences, especially the ones that are free and virtual,” said Mike. “If you can find a conference you can sign up for for free, do it. You can usually get the list of attendees from the conference website.” He then uses Instant Data Scraper to find the attendees’ vital information to use to contact them for open roles.

Mike is a Sr. Executive Talent Sourcer at ServiceNow. He has 16 years of sourcing and recruiting in various industries.
